The Pharmacy Student Ambassadors are a select group of current Nesbitt School of Pharmacy students who encourage, mentor and create a diverse and inclusive community of future student pharmacists.
Duties and Responsibilities
Pharmacy student ambassadors seek to build meaningful, personalized experiences and relationships with prospective student pharmacists.
Activities Include
- Lead tours of the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy to prospective students.
- Attend 麻豆视频APK University admissions events such as open houses and Admitted Students Day.
- Mentor an assigned group of students.
- Attend high school presentations.
- Answer questions from students and prospective students.
How to Join
Current P1-P3 pharmacy students in good standing within the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy and 麻豆视频APK University may apply becoming a student ambassador by submitting the following:
- A one to two page essay describing their interest in serving in this role, involvement in activities, and describe any leadership experiences.
- A curriculum vitae or resume.
- A reference from a 麻豆视频APK University faculty or staff member (e.g. current or past advisor, supervisor or mentor).
Selected finalists will interview with the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy admissions team and current pharmacy student ambassadors.

Adrianna Aziz

Get to Know Adrianna Aziz
Hi everyone! My name is Adrianna Aziz and I am a current P-1 pharmacy student here at 麻豆视频APK. I鈥檓 originally a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, born and raised in Reading, PA. I鈥檝e been at 麻豆视频APK for the past three years, truly getting to know and experience the culture of 麻豆视频APK University. Healthcare has always been a huge passion for the women of my family, so pharmacy fit just like a puzzle piece for my professional career! Along with being a pharmacy student, I鈥檝e chosen to pursue a minor in chemistry due to how much 麻豆视频APK has made me fall in love with it. On campus, I鈥檝e been involved as an RA, a Bonner Leader, the executive director of our school鈥檚 Dance Marathon, in the school鈥檚 Fellowship Club and am involved in various pharmacy clubs as well! Off campus, I鈥檝e recently started an internship with Lehigh Valley Hospital Network within their pharmacy services, rotating between 4 different hospitals within sterile compounding and retail.

Having a great first impression that reflects a great experience is super important, and I wanted to be that first impression for others! So many people aren't only unaware of the 麻豆视频APK NSoP, but of pharmacy as a career itself! I want people to be more aware of the options they have, and how 麻豆视频APK NSoP is one of the few :)
Dhimosten Duka

Get to Know Dhimosten Duka
I am a P3 pharmacy student from Stroudsburg, and I am interested in pursuing a career in community pharmacy. Within the pharmacy school I am a member Kappa Psi, PPA, and I am also the chair of Operation OTC Medication Safety for APhA. Outside of the classroom, I am an intern at Walgreens pharmacy. I enjoy working out, watching new shows, playing video games, and anything outdoorsy, like fishing and hiking!

Hello! My name is Alexandra Elsesser and I am a second-year pharmacy student (P2) at 麻豆视频APK University. I am from Schnecksville, PA and I am a graduate from Parkland High School. I have been studying at 麻豆视频APK in the Pre-Pharmacy Guaranteed Seat program, and in addition to pursuing a PharmD, I completed a minor in Spanish, which reflects my belief in expanding healthcare accessibility across diverse populations. Within the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, I am involved in several clubs. I serve as the International Vice President-Elect of American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the graduate liaison in Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity (KY), the membership chair for the Pediatric Pharmacy Association Group (PPAG), a Team 6 Representative on the Pharmacy Senate, a member of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) Pharmacy Leadership Society, and a mentor to first-year pharmacy students. Outside of class, I am a pharmacy intern at the Walmart in Lehighton. I enjoy traveling, hiking, and other fun outdoor activities. I look forward to sharing my experiences and continuing building my skills as a NSoP Student Ambassador!

Within the School of Pharmacy, I stay very involved and hold several leadership roles, including serving as Regent of Kappa Psi and President of ASHP. I chose pharmacy because I鈥檝e always wanted a career that allows me to make a meaningful impact and help others. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my cats, watching movies, and hanging out with friends.

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Gibson, and I am super excited to represent the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy as a student ambassador. I am currently a P1, and spent the last 2 years here at 麻豆视频APK in the guarenteed seat pre-pharmacy program. During undergrad I was a part of the Pre-Pharmacy Club and Biology Club, and I am now a current member of APhA and PPAG. I chose pharmacy because it combines my love for science with the ability to make a difference in lives, and my ultimate goal is to get into veterinary pharmacy. I am a huge animal lover, so chances are if I am not at school, I'm with my dog, Koda. Other than that, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, doing yoga, shopping, and baking. I look forward to sharing my love for this program with others!

Hello! My name is Joy Haroun and I am currently a P1 student from Whitehall, PA. I am interested in the profession of pharmacy because of its versatility and dynamic nature. I am part of a research group on campus and have done a lot of volunteer involving the elderly along with children ranging from ages 4-17. I love volunteer work and I plan on doing more throughout my time at 麻豆视频APK. After graduation, I am interested in working as a clinical pharmacist in the pediatric/neonatal unit of a major hospital.

Hello, I'm Irwin! I am from Scranton, PA, and a current P-1 student. I am a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) and an intern at Geisinger Community Medical Center. On campus, I serve as an E-mentor and as the DEIA for the NSoP class of 2029, where my goal is to support and represent my peers. I am bilingual, which allows me to connect with and assist a diverse range of patients. My passion for helping others drives me to grow as a future pharmacist and always to put people first. Hey everyone! My name is James Lavan, and I'm proud to represent the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy once again as a P3 student! Outside of school, I spend most of my time training and coaching for powerlifting. I'm very passionate about health and fitness, which is exactly why I've established the 麻豆视频APK Health and Fitness Club here on campus. My goal is to teach students about exercise, nutrition, and self-care, while hosting fun physical events for students across campus. I believe the best life is one that maximizes the gifts God has given us. I have been given the gift of being relentlessly ambition in my pursuit of living a good and honest life, one that involves forming meaningful connections with people and helping others without expecting anything in return. Hey, my name is Tammy, and I am a P1 student from Harrisburg, PA. I plan on getting my MBA next year and hopefully pursuing a career in industrial pharmacy. Hello! My name is Lexa Ullrich and I am a third-year pharmacy student (P3) at 麻豆视频APK University鈥檚 Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. I am from Kingston, PA and graduated from Holy Redeemer High School in 2021. On campus, I am a member of the Beta Psi Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS), a P3 Team Representative for Pharmacy Senate, a Pharmacy Care Lab Coach for the first-year (P1) and second-year (P2) pharmacy students, and recently became a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA). I am interested in pharmacy because of all of the diverse career opportunities that are available and how rewarding it is to make a difference in the lives of patients by improving their health-related outcomes through medication education. As a future pharmacist, I hope to become an advocate for the profession and both a leader and educator for future student pharmacists to support their learning journeys. Outside of pharmacy school, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, attending Penn State football games, and working as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS. Hello! My name is Nori Zaccheo and I鈥檓 a P3 student in the NSoP. I鈥檓 from Scranton PA and a 2017 grad of West Scranton High School. I鈥檓 also a 2020 and 2021 grad of Syracuse University (go Orange!). I am involved in many clubs on campus, holding e-board positions in APhA, PPA, SNPhA, Kappa Psi, ASHP, and Rho Chi, and I try to immerse myself in the tight knit 鈥減harmily鈥� that is the NSoP. I am interested in pharmacy because I believe it is a career where I can really help people, and my main goal after graduation is to help make healthcare more accessible. Outside of school I enjoy traveling, making jewelry, spending time with my nieces, and playing with my rescue dog, Theo!
